It is estimated
that 50 to 70% of all addicts have a co-occurring disorder.
Due to such high incidence, it is imperative that professionals become
familiar with effective diagnostic and treatment protocol for these individuals.
Participants will learn how to complete an in-depth Biopsychosocial
Assessment to evaluate for a co-occurring diagnosis. In addition, treatment strategies and protocols will be
introduced, along with applied pharmacology and symptomology of individuals

This module is designed for those interested in opening their own treatment facility. Modalities of treatment reviewed include: Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs.
